- B17s over Wilhelmshaven. Aerial combat shots as Fortresses shoot up German fighters. The Fortresses return to base. Damaged Thunderbolt makes a crash landing after an encounter. [146 ft] The German reply to all this is a street corner in London where bombs were dropped on a dance hall, a milk bar and a pub. [50 ft] An American-built aerodrome is handed over by General Eaker to Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Harris. Harris in speech says we are getting the better of the enemy and must not sit back with a false sense of security. [225 ft]
