Summary
HMS Submarine "Safari" arrives home after 18 months at sea. [47 ft] US and Canadian troops combine forces for the landing on Kiska, the last remaining Jap base in the Aleutian chain. [60 ft] Flashback to 1941 and the SS Normandie (now Lafayette) burning in New York harbour. Salvage work being carried out on the ship and water being pumped out of her hull so she can be refloated. [50 ft]
