Summary
8th Army nearing Catania. On the outskirts of Enna some opposition from Italian snipers. Food is handed out to the civilian population of Floridia. Sherman tanks rumble through the old streets of Grammichele. British troops advancing and crossing Coralunga Bridge. Canadian and British troops moving in column along road. In a stream some soldiers go for a swim and some go in fully clothed doing their laundry at the same time.
