Summary
Troopships at sea, showing various activities on board the ships. Religious service on board one of the ships shows General Simmonds among the congregation. Convoy at sea in fairly choppy water. Dawn and the 8th Army makes its landing. Enemy guns open up and so do the Navy’s. Troops hitting the beaches with their equipment, US Canadian and British pouring ashore. Italian troops who have surrendered are loaded onto landing craft.
