History
It appears that Pathe Monthly was only in production for eleven months, from February 1925 to December 1925. It was first released on the third Monday of every month, and later, the fourth. This suggests that the series may have had some problems with completion in time for release, which may also explain its untimely demise. The Kinematograph Weekly described Pathe Monthly as an ‘untheatrical ... new Scientific, Travel and Interest film periodical.' It was made up of three regular stories, ‘The Secrets of Life’ a microscopic study of insects and natural subjects, ‘Romances of Science’ a series of studies of scientific processes through diagrams and cartoons, made by Bray Studios, and ‘The Trials of Judge Rummy’ a comic cartoon series, also made by Bray.
