Cinemagazine - News Related
The Whirlpool of War was a First World War weekly news cinemagazine produced by Cherry Kearton and the Warwick Trading Company in tandem with the newsreel Warwick Bioscope Chronicle. The first issue was released in August 1914, and from October each had individual titles such as WAR WITH TURKEY, issue no. 20 (1914). When the series ended in February 1915, thirty-three issues had been released, each lasting between four and six minutes.
