- History
- Laing News Review was intended to inform social groups and educational audiences about the work and culture of the company. Issues told a ‘story of work in progress or recently completed, both in this country and overseas.' Each issue was in colour, Kodachrome, and lasted around 28 minutes. The first issue featured nine items including stories describing the action taken to deal with the 1953 flood which devastated parts of the east coast of Britain and the construction of the Lusaka-Chirundu road in Northern Rhodesia. Later issues tended to deal with fewer subjects in more depth. Just six issues were made, released between January 1954 and December 1955.
