Sheridan was first credited in the Movietone camera team that filmed the Boat Race in April 1947, for ‘LIGHT BLUES’ EASY BOAT RACE WIN’ in No.930A. In the following month Sheridan was also credited in the team that filmed ''WELCOME HOME’' - the return of the King from his South African tour - for British Movietone News No.936A of May 1947. In May 1950 he was also in the camera team for ‘THE DERBY 1950’ in British Movietone News No.1095, and in May 1952 helped to film ‘CARDIFF v LEEDS UNITED’ for No.1196A, and ‘THE DERBY’ for No.1199A. His last credit is for ‘THE DERBY 1954’ in No.1304A of June 1954.
