Career

Donald Gray, born Eldred Tidbury, worked as an actor and voice-over artist for many years. His television credits include the Voice of The Mysterons in ‘Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons’ (1967) and Paul Hogburn in ‘Emmerdale Farm’ (1975).

His first newsreel credit is for ‘GIANT DRAGLINE’ in Colour Pictorial No.50 of December 1955. Others include ‘FOOTBALL STORY’ in Colour Pictorial No.57 of January 1956, and ‘SCHOOLBOY MURAL ARTISTS’ in Colour Pictorial No.62 of March 1956. His last is ‘WEIGHTS AND MEASURES’ in Colour Pictorial No.64 of March 1956.
