Career

Peter Dyneley commentated on several stories of the colour cinemagazine Pathe Pictorial in 1956. His first credit is for ‘BALLET SHOES’, Colour Pictorial No.61 released in February 1956, and his last ‘TEDDY TINLING FASHIONS’, Colour Pictorial No.66, released in April 1956.

Dyneley was at the beginning of his successful acting career when he worked for Pathe. He went on to star in many cult television series including ‘The Saint’ (1963 and 1968) and ‘Z Cars’ (1962). He also played the voice of Jeff Tracey in ‘Thunderbirds’ (1964), ‘Thunderbirds Are GO’ (1966) and ‘Thunderbird Six’ (1968).

Later, in the 1970s, he worked again as a commentator for Roundabout (1962-1974) , a technicolor cinemagazine made by British Movietonews for the Central Office of Information (COI). His only known credit for this series is ‘EMBROIDERY EXHIBITION’ in Roundabout No.126, released in November 1972. He also worked on another COI colour cinemagazine Parade (1963-1973), his only credit being ‘BURGLAR ALARM’ Parade No.110, released in January 1973.
