The American actress Joan Evans (professional name was Joan Hathaway) presented the entire series Topic or Meet The British with her husband Julius Evans [qv]. This series was produced by the Central Office of Information [qv] for the Foreign Office [qv] for broadcast on television in the United States in the late 1950s.
