Career
Brian Johnstone was a cricket commentator, who joined the BBC in January 1946. He commentated on three stories for the London Transport Executive’s [qv] Cinegazette No.5: ‘CAR 11281’, ‘ROUND AND ABOUT’ and ‘FOOD FOR THOUGHT’. Johnston continued commentating on television until 1972, and on radio until his death in 1994.
