Robert McKenzie ("Bob")

Robert McKenzie, then Foreign Editor of Picture Post, presented several series produced by the Central Office of Information for overseas distribution on television, Transatlantic Teleview for the United States together with Commonwealth Teleview and Viewpoint, primarily for Canada and Australia. Using an interview format, both series explored a single theme within each issue, which generally lasted between 13 and 15 minutes. Among the many personalities Robert McKenzie interviewed were the ‘Earl of Home’, Commonwealth Teleview No.1 and ‘NORMAN MANLEY’, Transatlantic Teleview No.10.
