Career
Gerard Bryant was a writer, director and producer. His feature film credits include job as Production Manager for ‘BRIGHTON ROCK’ (1947).
Bryant was a long-standing member of the Mining Review team. He worked on a couple of issues for DATA [qv] in the early years, ‘ENQUIRE HERE’ in 6th Year No.9 of May 1953 and ‘CIVIL DEFENCE’ in 6th Year No.11 of July 1953. He then left the series, but returned in 1975 and directed stories until the end of Review as it was then entitled. His credits for this period, as a director, include ‘SERVICE FOR CONSERVATION’ in Review 28th Year No.9 of May 1975 and ‘THE PIONEERS’ in Review 36th Year No.1 of September 1982.
