British Movietonews Ltd

The newsreel company British Movietonews Ltd produced several cinemagazines for the Central Office of Information (COI) [qv], British Calendar (later Calendar) and Looking At Britain. The company contributed items to British Calendar as well as producing entire issues, one of their earliest credits being ‘Royal Navy Anti-Submarine Programme’, British Calendar No.20, released in 1960. From mid 1970 the company started to produce all three of the technicolor COI cinemagazines, Roundabout, Carrousel Britanico and Parade.
