Career
Gordon Coull was a cameraman employed by Templar Films of Glasgow, which was run by Robert Riddell-Black [qv] and David Lowe [qv], and provided Movietone with Scottish stories. The first of Coull’s credits is for ‘EMPRESS OF CANADA’ in British Movietone News No.1658A of March 1961, and he supplied a story every few months until ‘RAG TIME’ - on the Glasgow students’ rag - in No.1808 of January 1964. Movietone credited other material to Templar Films, some of which may have been taken by Coull.
