Jack Yowell

Jack Yowell is credited as cameraman for several stories from Africa, in both British Paramount News and Pathe News. His credits include, ‘KENYA TOUGHENS FIGHT AGAINST MAU MAU’ in British Paramount News No.2285 of January 1953, ‘KENYA GOVERNOR SUPERVISES WAR ON MAU MAU’ in British Paramount News No.2311 of April 1953 and ‘LYTTLETON IN KENYA’ in Pathe News No.54/24 of March 1954. Yowell was a freelancer who was also the Managing Director of the East African Photographic Exchange Ltd. which was based in Nairobi. He used the company to distribute his footage.
