The London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) are the main archives for the Greater London area. Established in 1997, having previously been known as the Greater London Record Office, they are financed by the City of London Corporation. THE LMA is home to an extensive range of documents, images, maps, films and books about London. The online catalogue records over 1000 films and videotapes. The Images and Film pages of the site lead the user to the Mediatheque which screens material that has been digitised. A smaller selection of film and video titles are available on the YouTube channel.

Links-up is an EU project looking at how ‘Web 2.0’ technologies – e.g. social networking software – are changing the face of education and training for disadvantaged people. The project puts together a picture of the ‘landscape’ of ‘Learning 2.0 for Inclusion’ by reviewing what has been done in the academic and research field, as well as by practitioners working on the ground. It uses a series of ‘action research’ experiments, collaborating with host projects working in the field, to evaluate the added contribution Web 2.0 can make to practices that use learning to support social inclusion. The website offers a collection of case studies as well as podcasts on local initiatives such as the Podcasting-Workshop in Senior citizen center of Walser Birnbaum.

In May 2016 the Open University Worldwide online store posted the following:
"Unfortunately Open University Worldwide Limited has decided that product sales are no longer viable given the reduced funding to Higher Education institutions and diminishing demand for the products we have traditionally stocked. At present the Open University Students Association (OUSA) will continue to sell the “Good Study Guide”, and we are in discussion with other possible distributors to continue to make The Open University’s products available for purchase. As soon as we have any information on other channels of distribution we will update this notice."
