The Live Art Archives holds information about existing Live Art and Performance Art materials, records and publications primarily in England and the UK. The database of events seems not to be as comprehensive as when it was first created by Nottingham Trent University in 1997, but it was a useful search facility, and the site has valuble contact lists, details of courses, archives, databases and venues. Now based at Bristol University.

They include magic lanterns and slides, optical toys, film production equipment, television and video equipment, cinema equipment and fittings, artwork for animation, sets and costumes, sound technology, toys and games and documentation such as photographs, scripts, sheet music and personal papers. The database covers national and regional archives as well stockshot libraries and collections held by local authorities, museums, institutions of further and higher education, industrial companies and private individuals.
Each record has live e-mail and weblinks, and the data is regularly updated by the BUFVC’s Information Service.

TRILT is the most comprehensive online listings of television and radio programmes on all major channels receivable in the UK, including regional variations. Listings data is available several days in advance of transmission and will build up as an archive of programme information, going back to 1995. Selected programmes of value to HE/FE are enhanced and there are weblinks and indications of sources of post-transmission videotapes, including the BUFVC’s off-air recording backup service. BUFVC members can now use it to order their off-air requests dependent on their individual entitlement options.

Previously known as Omni, this is an essential gateway to academic and related web-sites on all aspects of medicine including bio-medical research. NB Intute closed in July 2011 and the site has now been archived. No further resources are being added and no changes are being made to existing content, so the resource will increasingly become less useful and reliable.
