- Sketch from the Canadian comedy series SCTV that parodies the theory that Sir Francis Bacon actually wrote Shakespeare’s plays. It stars Dave Thomas as Shakespeare and Rick Moranis as Bacon in four vignettes: 1. Backstage at the Globe Theatre; 2. At a brothel; 3. At a pub; 4. Aboard the Golden Hind.

- The sketch is available in its original broadcast version on YouTube, recorded off-air. The commercial DVD release substitutes the music from the sketch, originally taken from Max Steiner’s score from THE ADVENTURES OF DON JUAN (1949) and Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s music from THE SEA HAWK (1940).
