- Synopsis
- Feature film arising from the SCTV television comedy sketch series. Oafish, lager-swilling brothers, Bob and Doug, secure a job at Elsinore Brewery where something is rotten. The brewery is managed by Claude, who secured his presidency by murdering his brother and marrying his former sister-in-law. The brewery is situated next to a mental hospital. The ‘Hamlet’ character is played by a female (Lynne Griffin), Ophelia is Jean LaRose, an ex-hockey player, now an inmate of the hospital.

Ophelia/Rosencrantz and Guilderstern shows Ophelia drowning and the attempted assassination of Hamlet. Police Divers shows the retrieval of the bodies of Bob, Doug and Rosie from the bottom of Lake Ontario. The site also provides background to the film and a full cast list.
