Age Awareness E-Learning
- Synopsis
- Age discrimination affects the aspirations of both young and old, and prevents organisations from reaping the benefits of an age-diverse workforce. Following the introduction of the Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006, it also exposes organisations to penalties and fines.
This programme aims to make managers and employees aware of the implications the regulations have for their behaviour at work. It highlights the different forms of age discrimination that the regulations recognise, and suggests how policies/procedures should be adapted to counter such discrimination.
