Synopsis
Seen through the eyes of farmer Andrew Lyle, this DVD charts a year’s progress on a 500-acre arable farm in Lincolnshire. The farm grows wheat, oilseed rape, oats, potatoes, sugar beet and borage. Scenes featured include ploughing, manuring, seed drilling, the potato harvest, sugar beet lifting, hedge work, crop spraying, woodland maintenance, potato planting, crop protection, fertilising, irrigation and baled straw.

The project began as an educational aid siutable for schools and the DVD covers each stage in detail to explain exactly what is happening.
