Weir’s Way: The Highlands and the Hebrides

Synopsis
A series of walks with climber, naturalist and explorer Tom Weir, along the castle walls, perilous cliff sides, lochs and other landscapes that contribute to the life of Scotland. The settings include: Berwick-upon-Tweed, which changed hands between Scotland and England thirteen times; Kincardine, home to the siege resistant Dunnottar Castle; The Breadalbanes, where Black Duncan of the Cowl resided at Finlarig Castle; Royal Deeside, home to Balmoral Castle and Queen Victoria’s retreat Glas allt Shiel; and The Highland Wildlife Park, as well as extensive visits to Lerwick, Nos, Skye, Mingulay, Berneray, Eigg and more.

DVD extras include seven episodes of TEATIME TALES WITH MOLLY WEIR, insightful interludes from the actress who is Tom’s sister.
