Synopsis
Filmed on the stage of The Royal Opera House at Covent Garden in 1960, director Paul Czinner’s film showcases prima ballerina Margot Fonteyn in what was her first feature film. Partnered by Michael Somes, this film includes acts from three of the most well-known and admired pieces of ballet in the world: Ondine By Frederick Ashton; , The Firebird; and and Swan Lake (Act III).

DVD extras include: a commemorative booklet; stills gallery; an archive interview with Margot Fonteyn from LWT’s SUNDAY, SUNDAY, originally broadcast on ITV in 1984.
