- Each volume consists of a compilation of early, short films. Originally shot on inflammable nitrate stock the films have now been restored and made generally available.

Vol 6 includes: Down in the deep - under the sea in colour (1907), Suspense - directed by and starring Lois Weber (1913), Balloon Land - a cartoon by Ub Iwerks, the inventor of MickeyMouse (1935), Naughty Boys (1905), BIP..BIP..BIP..(1950), Post No Bills - slapstick with James Parrot (1923), Making an American Citizen (1912), Makin ‘Em Move - visit to an animation studio (1931), Giraffe Hunting in Uganda - tinted documentary (1910), The Pest - starring Stan Laurel (1922), Gregor and his Gregorians - jazz opera featuring Stephane Grappelli (1930), French cinema commercials (1936), Flight around the World - final episode of the serial (1924).
