- Synopsis
- A film directed by John Mackenzie dramatising the life of Jimmy Boyle who was reputed to be Scotland’s most violent man. After a hard upbringing he was twice charged and cleared of murder but was finally imprisoned for a murder he didn’t commit. While in prison he wrote his autobiography ‘A Sense of Freedom’ and started to sculpt. Since his release Jimmy has become a reformed character and spends a great deal of time working with young offenders.
