Synopsis
Television series, in six episodes, on the life and times of William Shakespeare. Writer John Mortimer based each episode around events in Shakespeare’s life to suggest how they influenced his writing. In Episode 4 Shakespeare is keen for his son, Hamnet, to have everything.
