- Synopsis
- Musical drama. The fortunes of some of the students at Manhattan’s High School for the Performing Arts. During the auditions at the beginning of the film, several students recite Shakespeare; one delivers Richard’s speech from I i of Richard III, another quotes some of Touchstone’s lines from V iv of As You Like It, and a third (Frankie, male) reads from Juliet’s lines from the balcony scene of Romeo and Juliet II ii.
