Synopsis
Musical drama. The fortunes of some of the students at Manhattan’s High School for the Performing Arts. During the auditions at the beginning of the film, several students recite Shakespeare; one delivers Richard’s speech from I i of Richard III, another quotes some of Touchstone’s lines from V iv of As You Like It, and a third (Frankie, male) reads from Juliet’s lines from the balcony scene of Romeo and Juliet II ii.
