Compliance is Just the Beginning (2 Parts)

Synopsis
Just because a particular ethical decision is legal or complies with organisational or corporate regulations or policy does not make it the best or only answer. Ethical decision making leads to business success and good corporate social responsibility, but weak ethics, poor ethical decision making or poor compliance with the law, organisational policy and regulations can have catastrophic implications for organisations and individuals. One seemingly small poor ethical decision can ripple out - as in the case of Enron, Worldcom, Barings Bank, or individual politicians - due to a poor judgement or decision. This programme offers a straightforward approach to ethical decision making that will help employees at all levels make better ethical decisions, and provides scenarios to spark discussion on ethics, corporate social responsibility and compliance with organisational regulations and policies.
