Assertiveness Works

Synopsis: In any given ‘awkward’ situation at work, there are three distinct ways in which we can choose to behave - aggressively, passively or assertively. Using the drama of 6 realistic workplace situations involving the employees of a typical company, the video aims to: help the viewer recognise these three types of behaviour; show the benefits of behaving assertively, rather than aggressively or passively; demonstrate a variety of assertiveness strategies, involving the appropriate use of actions, language, vocal style and body language.
