Professional Foul

Synopsis
Anderson, a decent, ineffectual English philosopher, goes to Prague on a lecture visit only to get caught up comically with the English football hacks in the hotel, and rather less comically with the plight of dissident student Hollar. Made in 1977, Tom Stoppard’s play was inspired by Czechoslovak human rights manifesto, Charter 77. Details compiled from TRILT - see www.trilt.ac.uk
