Infant Cues: A Feeding Guide

Synopsis
Targeted originally at low-income mothers on the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) programme in Texas, the video uses babies and mothers from ethnically diverse backgrounds to demonstrate what successful breastfeeding looks like. The soundtrack consists of background music without narration, information being provided by clearly printed headings at the beginning of each section. Shows continuous examples of correct breastfeeding techniques including proper latching on, positioning, preparation, ending the feed, and how to tell if the baby is satisfied.
