Countering Arthritic Movement Restrictions and Deformities

Synopsis: Aimed at all healthcare professionals working with those who have been recently diagnosed as suffering from either osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. The programme is specifically devised to assist in countering both the movement restrictions and the deformities associated with these conditions. The featured self-help exercises can be easily taught and will be of real benefit to patients. The exercises are shown being carried out under the guidance of Carina Bailey, a Chartered Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist. The joints featured are the Shoulder Girdle, Wrist & Hand, Head & Spine, Hip, Knee, Ankle & Foot and the exercises show the relevant techniques for each joint.
