Synopsis

Two authoring programs: Lacuna enables teachers to create gap-filling exercises; Apicale is for sentence-based input. Both programms can acceptmany possible answers and can trap anticipated errors. Sample exercises are supplied for post-A level French; adaptable to other languages.
