Horses in Motion

Synopsis
Using slow motion, the different equine gaits are defined and analysed: walk, trot, pace, canter and gallop. Novel camera angles show the effects of artificial gait and all-out gallop on the horse’s stability. Examples shown include slow-motion dressage flying changes and the complicated footwork of a cowherding working horse.
