Half Hearted About Semi-Skimmed

Synopsis
Examines social and scientific issues around the current cholesterol debate. Looks at Britain’s shameful record for heart disease and at the British diet of fatty food and full cream milk. Asks whether the reasons for giving up fatty foods are good enough, whether we should convert to a Mediterranean diet of vegetables, fruit and fish while the benefits are uncertain and the costs ignored.
