Synopsis: Series recounting the Gulf War of 1991, with first-hand accounts from key participants and unique footage including an SAS column active inside Iraq, Stealth bombers over Baghdad, night vision footage of helicopters spearheading the attack, low-level RAF Tornado bombing runs; Scud, Patriot and Cruise missiles, the desert tank war, and carrier operations. In four parts: 1) Invasion: from the invasion of Kuwait ordered by Saddam Hussein of Iraq, through the failure of international peace talks, to the outbreak of war; 2) Thunder and Lightning: the intensive air campaign against Iraq, using Steath bombers.
