- The ELISA (Enzyme Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay) test is used to measure the concentration of an antibody or an antigen in biological fluid. Shows in detail using graphics and laboratory sequences to explain how the assay works when used to determine antibody titre and demonstrates step-by-step how to carry it out. Also discusses another technique, immunofluorescence. Emphasises that serology is an extremely versatile and sensitive tool, and that most immunological techniques are simple and do not demand expensive reagents or sophisticated equipment.
