Distance Measurement
- Synopsis
- Distance measure is perhaps the most fundamental of all measureing techniqukes in surveying. But teaching it can be difficult, not least because of the time needed to demonstrate the wide range of equipment useds. This tape is a step-by-step guide which demonstrates fieldwork methods using a Pentax PX-06D EDM theodolite and the calculation of results. In four parts: introduction; direct distance measurement; optical distance measurement; electomagnetic distance measurement.
