Design Aid

Synopsis
A visual resource and teaching aid for design students, based on a survey of 600 adults with physical impairments, asking them about their lifestyle, aspirations and attitudes towards their disabilities. The data were then analysed to identify individual comsumer groups among disabled customers and combined with information about existing equipment for disabled people. The program uses interactive stylesheets which allows manipulation of consumer profiles and images to provide analyses of specific consumer criteria and a deeper understanding of how disabled people see themselves in society.
