Synopsis

Deals with osseointegrated dental implants from the patinet’s viewpoint, considering the questions most frequently asked of dentists. By listening in on discussions between a dentist, an implant patient and a potential implant patient, the issues are brought out. Addresses the problems of complete dentures, both physical aand psychological, and discusses the solution to what may seem to be an intracgtable compromise. While osseointegrated dental implants may not be the perfect answer, dramatic improvements can be achieved in many instances.
