Synopsis
A tutorial on the general principles of using electronic sources rather than on the specific technical details of individual databases. A simple database, using the analogy of a treasure hunt, teachers keyboard use, Boolean operators, truncation, controlled vocabulary and citation searching. Approximately 30-45 minutes teaching time.
