Synopsis
Video-based distance learning course aimed at helping engineers improve their effectiveness in communicating with others. In three sections: 1) discusses how communication can be hindered by a number of factors, and the need to build up relationships to engender trust with subordinates, boss and colleagues; 2) identifies and discusses the key skills required to communicate effectively: listening, questioning, observing and planning; 3) how to apply these skills, looking in particular at resolving conflicts.
