Synopsis
Looks back over the Gulf war and shows recently declassified images which explain why Operation Desert Storm has been described as a revolution in warfare. Assesses whether there was anything qualitatively different about the Gulf war and what the implications are for future weapons system development. Also examines the science of threat assessment and describes the assumptions tht underlie the computer models of hypothetical future wars. Interviews Major-General Sir Peter de la Billiere, Commander of the British Forces in the Gulf.
