- Synopsis
- Relates the daily battle for survival of the four million slum dwellers of Bombay, who constitute half of the city’s population. They are the workforce of Bombay: the industrial labour, the construction workers, the domestic servants, the brush-makers and rag-recyclers. The film was shot over a period of two-and-a-half years. There is no external commentator.
