Where’s the Science?

Synopsis

Illustrates how good infant practice can be the basis for teaching primary science in Key Stage 1 of the National Curriculum. Shows 5-7 year olds and their teachers working together, examples ranging from play through topic work to more structured scientific and technological activities. Extracts and commentary are designed to help teachers extend the potential scientific learning in good infant practice.
