Synopsis
Demonstrates blood pressure and respiratory responses of the anaesthetised cat to selected drugs, changes in inspired gas concentrations and nerve stimulation. The theoretical basis of each response is explained with the aid of diagrams. The participation of baro- and chemoreceptor reflexes in the control of blood pressure and respiration is emphasized.
