- Synopsis
- The story of a mentally handicapped man. Shows the problems faced by Walter as he struggles against the misfortune of his birth. As a teenager he learns through his own efforts, and those of his mother, how to read, write and hold down a simple job. He is unable to cope when his parents die and enters a long-stay mental hospital.
